General Description: Gum-Free has been formulated as a ready to use, safe, non-toxic, biodegradable chewing gum remover. Natural solvent in a white emulsion gel with a citrus odour.

When chewing gum is ground into the carpet or floor surface, it presents one of the most difficult challenges to remove, this is not true when using Gum-Free. Pierce the gum and apply the Gum-Free liberally and directly onto the gum surface, pierce again. These holes will allow the Gum Free access to the underside of the gum in order to release the entangled face fibres and speed up the process.

Gum-Free has been specially formulated as a thixotropic 'gel', in order to contain it on the gum. All freezer types and many other liquid types, require each gum piece to be treated singly and completely, before the next piece can be treated. The advantage of Gum-Free is that, the operative pierces and treats the gum and immediately gets on to the next, continuing on throughout the building. When all the deposits have been treated, the operative returns to his start point,

The longer Gum-Free stays on the gum the more easily it rolls out.

Shake well before every application: Pierce the gum deposits, then apply Gum-Free to the gum surface only and leave for a few minutes. Agitate with a paint scraper or a pallet knife and scrape up the dissolved gum into a tissue or cloth. If the gum is fresh, only one application is needed. If the gum is old, the product may need to be left on for a few extra minutes and a second application may be necessary. When free of gum, wipe the area with a damp cloth.
(Norsan recommend using a microfibre Boscloth for excellent results.)

Handling precautions:Flammable contains Ethanol. Good standards of industrial hygiene should always be followed. Keep away from sources of ignition. Always use in a well ventilated room. Handling precautions. Avoid contact with skin, wear protective gloves. Avoid contact with eyes. This product should not be ingested.

First aid treatment

In the event of contact with skin: wash with soap and plenty of water.
In the event of contact with eyes: rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
